Job summary

Centra is seeking a Deli Assistant in Springfield to prepare hot and cold deli items and ensure top customer satisfaction. You will handle sandwiches, hot foods, and sliced meats while maintaining high display standards throughout the day.

The ideal candidate will showcase excellent communication and customer service skills, be a team player in a fast-paced store environment, and have a passion for quality food. Training in HACCP is desirable but not required.

• Cook, prepare and display the foods sold throughout the day
• Ensure that the counter displays across all fresh food departments are to the highest standards at all times throughout the day
• Demonstrate your passion for quality food by sharing knowledge, recipes and personal recommendations with customers
• Deal with all customer queries efficiently, professionally and in line with store policy.
