Job summary

Kobre & Kim is seeking a highly experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys and case teams on complex Delaware and federal civil matters. The role emphasizes pre-trial discovery, trial preparation, e-filing, and managing case files to ensure deadlines are met.

The position requires 8+ years of paralegal experience in litigation, strong knowledge of Delaware Court procedures (Chancery preferred), and proficiency with Relativity, CaseMap, and Trial Director, with excellent communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 8+ years of litigation paralegal experience with significant responsibility for pre-trial discovery, motion practice, court proceedings, and trial preparation/support.
• Significant experience handling civil litigation matters in Delaware State Courts, particularly the Court of Chancery.
• Experience with proceedings in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware preferred.
• Experience with bankruptcy proceedings preferred.
• Proficiency with legal software such as Relativity, CaseMap Suite and Trial Director is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organization, prioritization and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with professionalism and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support to attorneys and case teams from pre-suit investigation through trial by managing litigation tasks.
• Collaborate with attorneys, legal analysts, litigation assistants and other staff to meet deadlines.
• Prepare and oversee court e-filing and related submissions at State and Federal levels.
• Manage case files, timelines, protocols and templates to support discovery, motions, depositions and trial prep.
• Coordinate discovery including organization, collection and production of electronic discovery.
• Oversee pre-trial and trial assignments: designations, witness and exhibit selection, and virtual war rooms.
• Attend and support court proceedings, including motions, arbitrations and trials.
• Interact and negotiate with litigation vendors and court personnel.
