Job summary

Summit Service Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Apprentice to join a field crew on industrial jobs.

You will learn by doing under the supervision of licensed electricians, building, testing, and turning over electrical systems that keep facilities running. Active Delaware apprentice electrician license is required; responsibilities include wiring, conduit work, and reading diagrams while adhering to safety protocols on diverse projects including automation, energy, and life-safety

Qualifications

• Possess strong reading of electrical drawings and NEC basics.
• Understand basic electrical theory and safety practices.
• Ability to read one-line diagrams and floor plans.
• Willing to obtain OSHA 10 certification if not already.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Install conduit, cable, devices per drawings and NEC; close punch‑lists at turnover.
• Pull, terminate, and label conductors to ensure correct testing and as‑builts.
• Support high- and low-voltage work under licensed electrician direction.
• Read one-line diagrams, lay out runs, and bend raceway with proper elevations.
• Maintain field safety with lockout/tagout, PPE, housekeeping, and hazard checks.
• Stage materials, track usage, and flag shortages to avoid delays.
