Qualifications

• Diesel experience with specific manufacturers is required.
• 3 years of technician and parts department experience.
• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Team oriented and focused on customer service.
• Working knowledge of shop equipment (wheel/tire, alignment, diagnostic, AC).
• Willingness to undergo background, DMV, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems to specification.
• Provide labor and time estimates for repairs.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to customers in non-technical terms.
• Stay current with new automotive technologies via formal training.

Diesel Technician

We are currently seeking aDiesel Technician to join our Ed Morse team.

Responsibilities

• Experienced in the latest automotive technologies and be a persistent problem solver.
  
• Automotive technicians / auto mechanics perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
  
• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification
  
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
  
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
  
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
  
• Inspect and test new vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made.

Qualifications

• Specific manufactures diesel experience is a must
• 3 years of technician and experience in an automotive partsdepartmen
  
• Hold a valid driver’s license
  
• Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
  
• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.
  
• Must be willing to submit to a background check,DMV screen, and drug screen
