Job summary

Kalitta Air is seeking a Deicing Coordinator Specialist to manage vendor relationships and deicing operations. You will gather station vendor details, ensure access to deicing manuals, and negotiate pricing for services by season or year.

Ideal candidates will have aviation/logistics experience, SIAGDP/IATA DAQCP familiarity, and strong communication skills. Domestic and international travel may be required, with office-based work at Kalitta locations.

Qualifications

Experience negotiating pricing and contract terms for deicing/anti-icing services.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Experience with aviation, logistics or ground operations.
Familiarity with SIAGDP and IATA DAQCP standards.
Knowledge of deicing/anti-icing equipment and procedures.

Responsibilities

Analyze station contact details for deicing vendors at Kalitta Air locations.
Provide deicing procedures and manuals to vendors; maintain internal contact database.
Inquire about deicing fluids: type, quantity, price.
Negotiate pricing for deicing services by season or year.
Evaluate new operation locations for climate-related deicing needs.
Share vendor contacts internally for coordination and audits.
Follow up with vendors on delays and performance issues.
