Peraton is hiring a skilled Systems Engineer to support the Defense Special Missile and Aerospace Center (DEFSMAC) program. DEFSMAC requires a Senior Systems Engineer to provide expert technical guidance and drive requirements gathering for a high‑availability geo‑visualization platform. The ideal candidate will collaborate with government Program Directors, power users and cross‑functional teams to understand operational needs, define system specifications, and recommend scalable, reliable solutions. Key responsibilities include analyzing current geo‑visualization capabilities, understanding technical architecture, evaluating current application limitations, and ensuring future designs align with performance, availability, and security standards.

Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
