Job summary

Aave Labs in New York is seeking a highly driven Strategy & BD Associate to work with leadership on strategic initiatives across ecosystem growth, product expansion, and institutional adoption. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, business development, and execution within one of the most influential organizations in decentralized finance.

You will support a broad range of initiatives, coordinating with product, engineering, legal, marketing, ecosystem, and external partners.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in strategy, business development or partnerships within digital assets
• Strong understanding of crypto, DeFi, and on-chain finance
• Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills
• Able to autonomously manage multiple workstreams in a fast-moving environment
• High attention to detail and strategic thinking

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of strategic growth initiatives across ecosystem and products
• Collaborate with leadership to identify new market opportunities and expansion strategies
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across product, engineering, legal, marketing, and ecosystem teams
• Assist in developing partnerships across DeFi, fintech, infrastructure, and institutions
• Conduct market research and ecosystem mapping to inform decisions
• Prepare strategic materials including partnership proposals and market overviews
• Support BD efforts including outreach, pipeline management, and stakeholder communications
• Monitor DeFi and digital asset trends to identify opportunities
• Contribute to internal strategic planning as Aave Labs scales globally
