Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Defensive Cyber Analyst to support Cyber Operations Policy leadership in developing and implementing defensive cyberspace operations policy, critical infrastructure protection, and incident response initiatives.

You will coordinate with senior leaders and interagency partners, bring technical expertise in cyber defenses, and help shape DoW policy and strategy while maintaining Top Secret clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 8+ years of experience in defensive cyberspace operations or related fields.
• Experience briefing complex cyber concepts to senior leaders (GO/FO/SES).
• Familiarity with defensive cyber policy development and strategy implementation.
• Active DoW Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Support development and update of DoW policy for defensive cyber operations.
• Assist in developing policies to deter, prevent, and respond to cybersecurity incidents.
• Support implementation of lines of effort under the DoW Cyber Strategy.
• Provide technical and analytical support on defensive cyber capabilities and operations.
• Support cyber resilience, incident response, threat mitigation, and layered defense initiatives.
• Coordinate with interagency partners and senior leaders on cyber security efforts.
• Prepare policy documents, risk assessments, and senior-level reports.
• Brief complex concepts to GO/FO/SES-level leaders.
