Job summary

Tyonek is seeking individuals to instruct Military and Government Civilian students in Defensive Cyber Operations skills. Instructors must pass course and methodology training, plus instructor evaluations to qualify and maintain qualification.

Duties include team-taught lessons, updating curricula, and potential two-shift work with fixed hours. Requirements include an Associate's degree, 3 years in Cyber Warfare/ Defensive Cyber Operations, IAT Level II, and Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a related area is required.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in Cyber Warfare/ Defensive Cyber Operations is desired.
• IAT/M Level II certification is required.
• AF Cyber Weapon System experience and/or Cyber Protection Team Experience is preferred.
• Top Secret Clearance/SCI required.
• Certifications: GNFA, GCIH, GSEC, CISSP, CASP, Sec+ are desired.

Responsibilities

• Instruct lessons in the assigned course; most lessons are team-taught with 1 primary and 2–3 supporting instructors.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of lessons to sustain instructor qualification.
• Develop new or update existing lessons as assigned.
• Work may be split into two shifts (S and T) with 0700-1600 and 1500-0001 duty hours; shift preference considered.
