Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Talent Acquisition Division Lead for Defense to drive workforce planning and recruiting excellence. You will lead recruiters, partner with senior leaders, and shape talent strategies to meet key business objectives in a hybrid role based in Buffalo, NY.

You will oversee TA operations, deliver high-quality hires, and contribute to strategic workforce initiatives across the Defense group, ensuring strong stakeholder engagement and data-driven outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least five (5) years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruiting Operations, Workforce Planning, HR, or related function.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing hiring decisions.
• Proven ability to drive recruiting performance through data, market intelligence, and process improvements.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and people development skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute workforce planning strategies and translate hiring forecasts into actionable recruiting plans.
• Partner with leaders and hiring managers to develop hiring strategies and address workforce challenges.
• Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines for critical and future skill needs.
• Research and leverage talent market intelligence and labor trends to inform decisions.
• Lead, coach, and develop recruiters, fostering accountability and performance.
• Establish recruiting plans, prioritize resources, and deliver against hiring commitments.
• Champion process improvements and recruiting best practices to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
• Own hiring performance metrics and deliver measurable business impact.
