Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Systems Engineering Intern in Huntsville, AL to support the Ground Based Defense System Program. Work within a matrixed SE/engineering team to develop solutions across defense, space, cyber, and DoD domains.

Responsibilities include interfacing with Design and SEIT Engineers, modeling system behavior, performing requirements verification and validation, developing test plans, and maintaining configuration management.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited university.
• Ability to work in a collaborative engineering environment with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated communication skills within a team.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Design and SEIT Engineers to support SEIT needs throughout design lifecycle.
• Model system behavior and provide documentation support.
• Perform requirements verification and validation.
• Help develop and support test programs, test plans and procedures.
• Maintain configuration management.
