Job summary

ASRC Federal Mission Solutions in Huntsville, AL seeks motivated Systems Engineers to support the U.S. Navy's Aegis Weapons System. You will design, integrate/test and conduct data analysis to assess system performance of the Combat System.

Basic qualifications include a STEM bachelor's degree with 2–4 years of related experience and the ability to obtain a government secret clearance. Agile experience and proficiency in C++, Java, MATLAB or Python are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 2–4 years' related experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government secret clearance.
• Ability to obtain required security clearance within contract timeframe.
• Understanding of an Agile development environment.
• Experience performing system and data analysis.
• Functional knowledge of Combat Systems.
• Experience in architecture, requirements development, trade studies, algorithm design, or modeling and simulation.
• Proficiency in C++, Java, MATLAB or Python.

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate and test components of the Combat System.
• Conduct data analysis to assess system performance.
• Support development and sustainment of the Navy Aegis Weapons System.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering disciplines.
