Job summary

Torch Technologies seeks a Systems Engineer/Analyst to work on Army air and missile defense systems at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL. You will model and simulate operational defense designs, analyze data, and develop Python-based tools to support decision-making for government customers.

You will communicate complex results to stakeholders and coordinate with teams across disciplines. Travel to live-fire events is required; security clearances may be necessary.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• BS or B.S.E. in Physics, CS, CE, Mech, Aerospace, Math, or Statistics from ABET-accredited university.
• 0-5 years of systems engineering/analysis experience (or related).
• Experience with Python for data analysis and tooling.
• DoW security clearance required (or ability to obtain).
• Experience with Army air and missile defense systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze air and missile defense system behavior to identify improvements.
• Analyze large datasets to determine system performance.
• Develop Python-based tools to parse, manipulate, and visualize data.
• Create and maintain Python-based post-processing tools suite.
• Brief findings to customers and stakeholders.
