Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science required.
• 5+ years of experience designing and developing complex systems.
• Experience applying SE approaches to system architecture and modular design.
• Proficiency in system decomposition, functional analysis, and interface management.
• Experience with hardware/software integrated architectures (not IT networks).
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to write white papers or reports.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop architectures for multi-domain defense systems using systems engineering principles.
• Decompose systems into modular subsystems and define interfaces.
• Create architecture documents, block diagrams, and interface control documents.
• Lead requirements analysis, functional decomposition, and allocation across hierarchies.
• Conduct trade studies to evaluate architectural options and decisions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain architectural integrity.
