Job summary

MANTECH seeks a Software Testing and Documentation Specialist to ensure software quality and write clear technical documentation for diverse audiences. You will work with JDMS to manage data and collaborate across the SDLC with developers, PMs, and analysts—on-site at Patuxent River, MD, with up to 25% travel.

The role requires 3+ years in testing or related fields, RMF/ATO experience, and timely certification. Must be a U.S. citizen with a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software testing, development, engineering, or related experience.
• Experience with Navy RMF and related ATO documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
• Must complete a software tester certification or Training Qualification within 180 days.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and execute comprehensive functional test plans and test cases.
• Coordinate SDLC activities with developers, product managers, and analysts.
• Manage documentation QA for requirements, risks, and test reports.
• Oversee data distribution using JDMS, including manuals and patches.
• Collaborate on data delivery across unclassified architectures; travel up to 25%.
• Utilize APIs and sFTP frameworks to optimize content delivery.
