Innovative Defense Technologies invites a Software Test Engineer Intern to join the IMS team on-site in San Diego, CA. You will work under a project test lead, testing software across IMS components and collaborating with engineers to deliver robust solutions that meet mission requirements.

The role targets students pursuing a related bachelor's degree with Java or C++ experience, in a fast-paced environment requiring initiative, ownership and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with Java or C++ in Linux or Windows environments.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and test software solutions across IDT's Integrated Mission Systems (IMS) area.
• Provide feedback to developers to improve quality of software
• Develop test plans for integrated applications using Java, C++, Python, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with software and systems engineers to deliver robust solutions.
