Job summary

DRS RADA Technologies, a subsidiary of Leonardo DRS, is hiring a Buyer to join our Germantown, MD team. Responsibilities include executing CPSR-compliant purchase orders, supporting purchasing activities, and maintaining supplier relationships to ensure on-time delivery and cost control.

The role requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent and 2+ years in purchasing, with the ability to read military specs and adhere to procurement laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Purchasing.
• Ability to understand military specs and blueprints.
• Knowledge of procurement laws and contract guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Execute CPSR-compliant purchase orders from approved documents.
• Support purchasing activities and supplier coordination.
• Track supplier changes and negotiate terms to minimize risk.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and resolve issues.
• Provide spend/demand information and report cost savings.
