Zusammenfassung

The Entwistle Company is seeking a skilled Quality Systems & Process Specialist to build a long-term career in our collaborative and innovative environment. This role leads the development and improvement of NADCAP-ready quality systems and manufacturing processes in defense manufacturing.

You will provide senior guidance to inspectors and cross-functional teams, translating government and technical requirements into clear internal and supplier expectations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, manufacturing or a related technical field or an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant industry experience.
• Five to eight years of progressive quality engineering, quality systems, or manufacturing quality experience in defense/aerospace or similarly regulated manufacturing.
• Experience with quality management systems, internal auditing, quality plans, corrective action, and process improvement.
• Working knowledge of NADCAP preparation and compliance for applicable special processes.
• Ability to interpret drawings, GD&T, contracts/supplier flow downs, and government or customer quality requirements.
• Experience analyzing quality data and converting findings into sustainable controls.

Aufgaben

• Lead development, maintenance, and continual improvement of the Quality Management System and related manufacturing quality processes.
• Own NADCAP preparation, audit readiness, and sustained process controls for applicable special processes.
• Lead quality participation in contract and specification reviews and translate requirements into internal and supplier requirements.
• Apply Navy technical publications and NAVSEA requirements to quality activities.
• Develop and revise quality plans, inspection hold points, and quality requirements for routers and shop orders.
• Coordinate MRR and VRR workflow and provide technical disposition input.
• Analyze defects and quality data to identify trends and improvement priorities.
• Redesign procedures to prevent recurring quality failures and reduce delays.
• Conduct internal audits and drive corrective improvements.
• Provide technical guidance on drawings, GD&T, and acceptance requirements.
• Develop and deliver quality training for inspectors and departments.
• Collaborate with Contracts, Engineering, Operations, Purchasing, and Programs to resolve issues.
