Job summary

AMETEK is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure compliance with Level 1 / SUBSAFE NAVSEA requirements and to support safety-critical hardware through strict process adherence.

You will manage contract review, data package development, and source inspection, interfacing with suppliers and government representatives to sustain traceability, documentation control, and certification integrity throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, manufacturing or related field.
• 3–5 years in manufacturing or quality engineering environment preferred.
• Experience with ISO 9001:2015 and contract review processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform contract review sign-off including customer requirements.
• Review RFQ and PO to ensure quality requirements are captured.
• Review receiving docs for completeness and compliance to contracts.
• Coordinate Source Inspection and maintain data packages.
