Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks an Operations Vice President of Defense Programs to lead a major Department of Defense portfolio with global staff and a multi-hundred‑million-dollar revenue stream.

The role reports to Serco leadership, shaping strategy, performance, and growth for Navy and DoD programs in a dynamic defense environment. The successful candidate will oversee executive leadership, customer relationships, and risk management while promoting operational excellence and long-term business objectives

Qualifications

  • Active DoW Secret security clearance required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive leadership for a DoD portfolio with $150M+ annual revenue.
  • Lead a global workforce of 360+ across DoD programs and contracts.
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive growth, customer satisfaction, and program success.
  • Manage portfolio financial performance, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Partner with government stakeholders and industry partners to identify growth opportunities.
  • Drive workforce development, succession planning, and organizational change.
