Job summary

Curtiss-Wright SAS in Summerville, SC is seeking a Project Manager to lead mid-sized hardware projects. You will manage schedules, budgets, and client communications, coordinating with engineering, manufacturing, and finance to ensure on-time delivery within budget.

Requirements include a engineering or business degree, 7–10 years in PM, and DoD exposure. PMP is a plus and strong analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required due to DoD requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business; Master’s degree preferred.
• 7–10 years in a similar project management role with hardware production/delivery.
• PMP certification is an asset; strong schedule management skills (MS Project or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects meet delivery and financial requirements.
• Support order capture with proposals and master schedule input.
• Lead client and internal meetings during execution.
• Maintain master project schedule and drive corrective actions.
• Serve as focal point for all project communications and issues.
• Coordinate with functions in a matrix reporting environment.
• Lead project reviews and milestone meetings with management.
• Navigate contract scope changes with clients; negotiate as needed.
• Apply Earned Value Management and risk management practices.
