Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Program Manager, Defense Contracts to own government and defense programs from contracting through execution and delivery. You will act as the central orchestration point among engineering, operations, finance, and government customers to ensure scope, schedules, costs, risks, and deliverables stay aligned.

This role will support multiple projects across stages while collaborating with engineering to develop scopes of work and translate requirements into concrete

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or closely related technical field required.
• 5+ years of program/project management, government contract execution, proposal development experience.
• Ability to independently own complex programs from contract execution through delivery.
• Experience working with engineering teams and understanding technical requirements and deliverables.
• Experience supporting government, defense, federal, or military contracts/programs.
• Understanding of government contracts, terms, reporting requirements, deliverables, and compliance obligations.

Responsibilities

• Own government and defense programs from contracting through execution and delivery.
• Serve as central point of coordination between engineering, operations, finance, supply chain, stakeholders, and government customers.
• Develop scopes of work with engineering, translate requirements into actionable project plans, manage schedules and deliverables.
• Own contract negotiations, proposal writing, reporting requirements, terms and conditions, and compliance obligations.
• Coordinate with government customers and help coordinate federal audits and required documentation.
