Job summary

Precision Fuzing and Sensors in Middletown, CT is actively hiring for a Program Manager who will oversee Legacy Production, New Product Development and IR&D/Engineering programs. You will manage schedules, budgets and deliveries, interfacing with customers and government officials in the defense sector.

The role requires leadership of cross-functional teams, direct customer contact, and collaboration with Senior Management to explore new business and product lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or related discipline is required.
• 7–10 years of experience in program management and manufacturing operations.
• Working knowledge of program cost, schedule and technical performance.
• Fluent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Demonstrated track record managing multiple programs.

Responsibilities

• Direct all phases of programs assigned from inception through completion.
• Monitor status of programs and schedules to meet milestones and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with functions to determine root cause, impact and corrective actions.
• Lead IPTs to ensure adherence to schedule, budget and scope.
• Prepare project plans, proposals, and statements of work; monitor budgets.
