Caterpillar Defense seeks a Program Manager to lead complex defense programs for the U.S. Navy. You will oversee performance, engage customers, plan finances, mitigate risks, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver objectives within schedule and budget.

The role emphasizes liaison with Navy customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with contract and regulatory requirements while driving mission-critical solutions for naval readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting U.S. Navy acquisition programs, including shipbuilding, sustainment, modernization, or related defense programs.
• Experience supporting U.S. Navy major program acquisition including shipbuilding programs, with knowledge of PAE organizations.
• Strong influencing and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control a set of related projects within a program.

Responsibilities

• Organize processes and coordinate procedures for all project teams within the program.
• Serve as a liaison and build bridges among project teams within the program; translate objectives into practices.
• Plan, monitor, and ensure quality standards and program goals are achieved; ensure on-time delivery.
