Job summary

Roush Defense is seeking a Defense Program Manager to lead major technical programs within the Defense Engineering Department. The role focuses on cost, schedule, and performance management, interfacing with customers, contractors, and internal teams to deliver critical program deliverables on time.

Responsibilities include managing RFPs and budgets, IMS and risk registers, and leading reviews with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of program management experience.
• Experience with DoD programs and government contracts.
• U.S. Citizen and ability to obtain security clearance (secret level).
• Strong communication and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost management from RFP to closeout and monthly reporting.
• Manage all schedule aspects to meet deliverables and dates.
• Oversee performance to align with SOW and customer requirements.
• Administer manpower planning, resource assignment, IMS, and risk/register metrics.
• Lead Program Reviews and Design Reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support business development and forecasting activities.
• Foster a positive environment and drive process improvements.
