Textron Systems in Wilmington, MA, is seeking a Project Specialist to support the Weapons Program Management team, ensuring on-time SDRL deliverables, coordinating with Engineering, Quality and PM, and maintaining a high level of program discipline.

The role emphasizes fast-paced environment, organization, and service to the warfighter, with duties including CAM for SDRL scope, risk registers, PSR/MPSR coordination, and leading Pre-Ship Readiness Review events to ensure timely hardware delivery.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree required.
• Ability to learn quickly and multitask efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office products.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Knowledge of Oracle EBS and eMatrix PLM preferred.
• Prior US military or defense / aerospace industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate SDRL deliverables for a major DoD contract.
• Ensure on-time submittal of recurring SDRL deliverables to the customer with cross-functional coordination.
• Forecast and spearhead SDRL efforts for major program events.
• Capture meeting minutes and action items for monthly reviews.
• Serve as CAM for SDRL scope and Engineering Software.
• Maintain a program-wide risk register and lead Risk Review Boards.
• Coordinate content and meeting logistics for monthly reviews with leadership and customer.
• Lead Pre-Ship Readiness Review events and SDRL creation to support on-time delivery.
