Job summary

Ultra Intelligence & Communications in San Diego, CA, seeks a Program Finance Lead to manage DoD program finances, including budgets, forecasts, EACs/ETCs, and financial performance monitoring on multiple contracts.

The ideal candidate has ~5 years in government contracting/defense finance and can interact with program managers and senior leadership in a fast-paced, regulated environment. On-site role with opportunities for growth and compliance leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field.
Approximately 5+ years of experience in program finance, government contracting, defense, aerospace, or related industry.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance, if required for assigned programs.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary finance partner for assigned DoD programs and program managers.
Develop and maintain program budgets, forecasts, financial plans, and estimates at completion (EACs).
Monitor program financial performance against budgets, forecasts and contractual requirements.
Lead monthly forecasting and variance analysis for assigned programs.
Support compliance with government contracting requirements and assist with audits as needed.
Prepare monthly program financial reports for leadership.
