Job summary

Radiant Dev seeks a Product Engineer II to lead design concepts and 3D models for military armor, aircraft components, and related security tech. You will manage the full lifecycle from prototyping to testing and documentation, driving manufacturability and documentation excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) with 5-10 years of product development experience.
• SolidWorks proficiency and strong BOM management experience.
• ASME Y14.5 certification with expert knowledge of ASME Y14.100 and ASME Y14.5 drawing and GD&T standards.
• Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturability (DFM).

Responsibilities

• Product design: create and detail new technologies using SolidWorks and maintain legacy products.
• Prototyping & testing: assist with component procurement, assembly, integration, and ballistic/blast/drop-tower tests.
• Technical documentation: author design reviews, trade studies, test plans/reports, and requirements tracking.
• Proposal support: aid engineering and commercial teams with bid and proposal efforts.
