Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Research or equivalent.
• Qualitative and quantitative analyses of complex military/operational problems.
• Develop analytical methodologies, conduct research, evaluate operational data.
• Strong understanding of analytical techniques, problem formulation, and research design.
• Synthesize complex technical information into clear, actionable recommendations for nontechnical audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including reports/briefings.
• Collaborate with military leadership, staff elements, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Active TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance.

Aufgaben

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses of complex military challenges, strategic initiatives, and capability requirements.
• Provide analytical input for evaluation documentation supporting USSOCOM and service strategies and emerging threats.
• Formulate analytical problems, design studies to evaluate operational effectiveness and mission requirements.
• Support Annual Joint Assessment (AJA) and Joint Military Assessment (JMA) inputs and processes.
• Analyze operational data, identify trends, assess risks, and develop actionable recommendations to enhance readiness.
• Translate analytical findings into clear reports, briefings, and recommendations for leadership and non-ORSA experts.
• Coordinate ORSA activities with military staff to ensure relevance and actionability.
• Support strategic planning, operational assessments, and future force capability development.
• Collaborate with military planners, analysts, and SMEs to support decision-making.
• Prepare and present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
