Job summary

Lyntris is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to advance open architecture solutions for defense and aerospace systems. You will implement interfaces and data models using OMG IDL, Protocol Buffers, XML Schema, and XMI across multiple standards.

The role requires 5+ years in defense software, strong analytical skills, and an active U.S. clearance or ability to obtain one, working with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver interoperable software for mission-critical applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering in defense/aerospace.
• Experience with SOSA, FACE, AGRA/TGRA, or UCI interfaces.
• Experience implementing serialization interfaces (IDL, Protobuf, XSD, XMI).
• Ability to perform gap analysis across standards and reference architectures.
• Active U.S. national security clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate open architecture interoperability solutions.
• Analyze and implement SOSA/FACE/AGRA/UCI standards for software systems.
• Perform gap analysis between standards to enable data exchange.
• Develop interfaces using IDL, Protobuf, XSD, and XMI.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Support documentation and engineering artifacts per standards.
