Job summary

ISPA Technology, LLC in the United States is seeking a Network Engineer to safeguard defense-grade networks. You will apply deep network security knowledge to assess, design, and implement protection plans for critical assets, using ACAS for vulnerability scans and ISE for access control.

Candidates should have 5+ years in defense-focused network engineering, strong communication skills, and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of network engineering with a focus on security in defense.
• Experience with network security tools, including ACAS, for vulnerability assessments.
• Experience with Cisco networking technologies and Cisco ISE.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex concepts for stakeholders.
• Knowledge of current cybersecurity standards and defense industry protocols.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to convey security concepts clearly.
• U.S. citizen able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or Security+ are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct network security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and risks.
• Develop and implement network protection plans to safeguard critical systems.
• Utilize ACAS tools for continuous monitoring and vulnerability management.
• Analyze network integrity and effectiveness of protection measures.
• Manage user and asset permissions using Cisco ISE.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to align with policies and regulations.
• Stay current on network security trends to enhance defenses.
