Job summary

Torch Technologies is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Software Integration Engineer to support HWIL simulations for Missile Defense Agency programs, including ground and flight test activities. You will install, test, and integrate OSF systems, analyze performance, and resolve hardware/software issues.

Role requires US citizenship, an active Secret clearance, and a bachelor's degree in a related field, with 2+ years in modeling and simulation or test & evaluation.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of modeling and simulation, systems integration, or test and evaluation experience.
• Active Secret Security Clearance required.
• Experience with containerized applications in a cloud-based environment.
• Experience with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) programs or similar defense systems.
• Familiarity with OSF or similar simulation tools.
• Familiarity with GST, BCM - BMDS C2BMC, and TGx tools.
• Background in software testing, test plans, procedures, and reports.
• T&E experience supporting pre-flight/ground testing.

Responsibilities

• Support integration, testing, and operation of HWIL simulation environments for MDS tests and CI activities.
• Install, configure, checkout, and test OSF systems per requirements.
• Analyze HWIL architecture performance and resolve integration issues.
• Evaluate and troubleshoot network traffic and connections.
• Install and configure M&S Framework to ensure functionality between MDA elements; document configurations and results.
• Execute test scenarios including threat modeling for mission requirements.
• Document configurations, procedures, and results; generate test reports.
• Adhere to processes, provide status updates, collaborate with team in person and remotely.
• Collaborate with teams on mission planning, execution, and post-event analysis for ground and flight tests.
