Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Defense Mission Expert to translate strategic and operational planning experience into actionable Joint Force designs for critical defense clients. You will research, develop, and analyze scenarios and requirements to support force design recommendations and serve as a trusted advisor on complex analyses for national security programs.

The role requires a strong background in military planning, a TS/SCI clearance, and advanced degrees with relevant experience.

Defense Mission Expert The Opportunity:

As a Defense Mission Professional, you’ll bring your strategic and operational planning experience to work on projects for critical Joint Force organizations and requirements. You’ll research, develop, and analyze Joint Force scenarios and requirements to support Joint Force design recommendations. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, processes, and planning or programming as part of service or joint mission areas. You’ll guide the work we do for the U.S. Space Force and the solutions we deliver for Joint Force design military analysis. You served your country as a seasoned operational planner, now continue your mission with us. You Have:

• 3+ years of experience as a military operational planner at the Combatant Command or Service Component Combatant Command-level
• Knowledge of the Joint Operational Planning Process, operational plans, support plans, and campaign plans
• Ability to integrate Joint Force operational requirements into operational scenarios and modeling and simulation environments
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience with mission planning
• Master’s degree and 3+ years of experience with mission planning

Nice If You Have:

• 5+ years of experience as a military operational planner at the Combatant Command or Service Component Combatant Command-level
• Graduate of a U.S. Army School of Advanced Military Studies, U.S. Air Force Weapons School, or Marine Corps School of Advanced Warfighting
• Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
