Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 4+ years of experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.
• Experience with CAD tools, drawings, and basic modeling techniques.
• Familiar with common hand tools (screwdrivers, drills, wrenches).
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and work in unairconditioned environments during flight testing events (less than 1 month a year).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and integration of ISR sensors and systems payloads on various ground and air based applications.
• Design mounting structures for both ground and aircraft testing components.
• Develop parts lists (BOMs) for drawings and payloads.
• Work with vendors obtain engineering cost estimates on designed components.
• Assembly of components and payloads.
• Support flight testing operations.
