Job summary

Leidos Defense Sector in Beavercreek, Ohio is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to apply your experience supporting government contracts and IRAD programs. You will design, build, integrate, and test new and emerging technologies and capabilities.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience, US citizenship, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. Occasional telework may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 4+ years of experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.
• Experience with CAD tools, drawings, and basic modeling techniques.
• Familiar with common hand tools (screwdrivers, drills, wrenches).
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and work in unairconditioned environments during flight testing events (less than 1 month a year).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team.

The Defense Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Mechanical Engineer to work in our Beavercreek, Ohio office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience supporting government contracts and IRAD programs. In this mission we design, build, integrate, and perform test demonstrations of new and emerging technologies and capabilities.

This position is located in Beavercreek, OH. There may be occasional opportunity to telework during the week.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
