Job summary

Whelan Machine & Tool LLC in Louisville, KY, seeks a Controller to lead the subsidiary's close, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls. You will oversee day-to-day accounting, cost accounting, and cash flow visibility, coordinating with the Ajax Finance VP on consolidation and covenants.

Responsibilities include managing the close, variance analysis, and ERP system integrity, while guiding the accounting team and ensuring CMMC 2.0 ITAR compliance and mature internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong Excel skills and hands-on ERP experience.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process for WMT and ensure accurate statements.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and consolidate reporting for leadership.
• Manage budgeting, rolling cash flow forecasts, and variance analysis.
