The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, a Paralegal certificate, 3–5 years of defense or civil litigation experience, and proficiency with Westlaw, Word, and paperless systems. A background/drug screen is required.

• Paralegal certificate required.
• 3-5 years of defense litigation paralegal experience.
• Civil or employment litigation experience required.
• Experience with web-based legal research services.
• Proficient with electronic filing and paperless systems.
• Ability to pass a background/drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with civil case preparation for trial.
• Review, analyze, and summarize legal documents.
• Manage discovery and records.
• Schedule depositions and client meetings.
• Organize case files and maintain timelines.
• Conduct rapid legal research to aid decisions.
• Maintain time records and meet 1,650 annual billable hours.
• Coordinate with staff and vendors as needed.
