Elevate Legal Talent seeks a Defense Litigation Attorney to join a nationally recognized law firm’s litigation practice. The attorney will handle general liability and tort defense matters from inception to resolution, in a role supported by a large national platform.

The candidate must have a JD, active Arizona Bar, and a minimum of 3 years of general litigation experience, with strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Start ASAP with a competitive salary.

Qualifications

JD from an accredited law school.
Active Arizona Bar license in good standing.
Minimum of 3 years of general litigation experience.
Experience handling tort defense matters.
Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
Strong attention to detail and client service orientation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Represent clients in general liability and tort defense matters.
Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution.
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests and responses.
Conduct legal research and provide strategic legal analysis.
Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, and participate in mediations and settlement negotiations.
Assist with trial preparation and case strategy development.
Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular updates on case status.
Collaborate with attorneys and legal professionals to ensure exceptional client service.
