Job summary

Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP in Schererville, IN is seeking a defense litigator to join a nationally recognized team handling high-stakes cases across multiple industries.

You will manage a diverse caseload from the outset, drafting opinions and depositions, and collaborating with a high-performing group while maintaining rigorous standards and strong academic performance. Must be admitted to the Indiana Bar and in good standing.

Qualifications

• Must be admitted to the Indiana Bar and in good standing.
• Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of defense litigation experience, including general liability, product liability, construction defect, premises liability, and vehicle liability matters.
• Experience drafting complicated opinions, motions and legal memoranda, conducting file analysis, taking depositions, and interviewing witnesses.
• Demonstrated experience managing a rigorous caseload independently, with the ability to handle multiple matters efficiently while maintaining high-quality work.
• Strong academics and excellent writing skills required.
