You will manage calendars, track deadlines, prepare case documents, and communicate with clients, carriers, and court personnel, ensuring efficient litigation support and timely submissions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a legal assistant in a defense firm.
• Familiar with Florida state and federal filing rules.
• Experience scheduling depositions, hearings, and mediations.
• Proficient in AIM and PerfectLaw.

Responsibilities

• Manage attorney calendars and deadlines in the case-management system and Outlook.
• Schedule calls, depositions, hearings, and meetings.
• Track court and internal deadlines; issue reminders.
• Open and organize new matters; maintain client and carrier communications.
• Prepare case summaries and draft correspondence.
• Format letters and pleadings for attorney review.
• Assist with e-filing per attorney direction.
• Maintain organized matter files per firm standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
