Zinc Network is seeking a Program Lead to own delivery and relationship management on a multi-year US government defense IO program. Translate requirements into deliverable campaigns and build the US delivery team, aligning private-sector strategy with US defense IO experience.

Based in Washington, DC, Tampa, FL, or Stuttgart, Germany, this hybrid role involves travel to customer sites and close collaboration with the prime contractor and government customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Significant experience in strategic communications, IO, or related discipline in private sector and US defense contracting.
• Experience managing a client or prime contractor relationship in US federal context.
• Working knowledge of US defense IO practice, terminology, and behavioral frameworks.
• Active or reinstated TS/SCI clearance; US citizenship required.
• Ability to build and lead teams, including recruitment and people management.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day relationship with the prime contractor and government customer, acting as delivery lead.
• Lead delivery across all Zinc-resourced workstreams to meet requirements and deadlines.
• Translate requirements into practical delivery plans and coordinate US/UK teams.
• Build and lead a US-based delivery team, recruit and onboard staff.
• Monitor budget and labor-hour utilization; escalate risks or scope changes.
• Maintain fluency in US defense IO practice and terminology to ensure credibility.
• Identify growth opportunities within the program and broader relationship.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, security, and clearance requirements.
