Job summary

KBR is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team supporting a Program Office at NAS Patuxent River, MD. This role provides resource planning and financial/program management analysis for the Advanced Systems IPT, with on-site work required and no remote option.

The candidate will handle budget planning, monitoring funding, and contract analysis for multiple IPTs, requiring a Secret clearance (TS/SCI eligibility preferred) and a Bachelor’s degree plus five years of DoD financial management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline and five years of DoD financial management experience.
• Current Secret clearance and eligibility for TS/SCI; Top Secret preferred.
• Strong MS Office proficiency and ability to communicate with senior government leadership.

Responsibilities

• Perform budgetary planning, analysis, and contract management for multiple IPTs.
• Interface with IPT personnel to obtain inputs for staffing, travel, material, and fees; develop spend plans and reports.
• Develop spend plans and present spend plans to PMA Level I/Level II leads, lead BFM/Deputy BFM, and NAVAIR/NAWCAD BFMs.
• Monitor funding and analyze expenditure trends to guide corrective actions.
