Job summary

A leading technology firm in Washington, DC is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist II/III to support cybersecurity engineering and compliance execution. In this role, you will implement controls, monitor security posture, and remediate vulnerabilities across supported systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity engineering, with over 3 years of experience, and be able to manage security compliance activities effectively. An active DoD Secret clearance is required due to the nature of the position.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional cybersecurity engineering experience.
• DoD 8570/8140-aligned IAM/IAT/IASAE Level I position‑based certification expectations as applicable.
• Active DoD Secret clearance (or clearable to that level) required.

Responsibilities

• Supports cybersecurity engineering and compliance execution.

Skills

Experience supporting RMF/cyber compliance

Familiarity with vulnerability scanning

Education
