Job summary

JRC is seeking a Contracts Administrator to oversee government contracts, reporting to the Director of Contracts & Subcontracts. The role involves cradle-to-grave management, bid issuance, and interface with subcontractors to draft statements of work and conduct cost analyses.

You will ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS/ITAR, advise on contract risks, and manage modifications in JRC’s contract system while supporting negotiation and GFP procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college/university; MBA or law degree preferred.
• 3–5+ years of experience in Contract or Subcontract Management.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Cradle to grave contract management including supporting prime proposals through closeout.
• Responsible for issuing bids that may require integrating proposals from subcontractors and other potential vendors, along with drafting statements of work and conducting appropriate cost or price analysis.
• Review and disseminate Non-Disclosure Agreements and Teaming Agreements on behalf of JRC.
• Ensure compliance with contracting policies, laws and regulations including FAR, DFARS, ITAR, and related acts.
• Advise management of contract risks and provide interpretation of terms and conditions.
• Ability to review and process contract modifications into JRC’s contract management software tool.
• Support negotiation of terms and conditions, prices, and drafting edits to subcontracts and other contract-related documents.
• Knowledge of Government Furnished Property procedures and management.
• Independently track contractual deliverables and compliance items.
