Job summary

Whisper Aero is a Nashville-based aerospace innovator delivering quieter, cleaner propulsion technologies. We seek a Defense Business Development Manager to expand our defense portfolio, engage with government stakeholders, and drive strategic opportunities across the DoD landscape.

You will collaborate with internal teams to align products with defense needs, attend government meetings, prepare proposals, and help shape Whisper Aero's defense market roadmap.

Qualifications

• Experience in defense-focused business development or program management.
• Familiarity with government contracting and defense programs.
• Eligibility to obtain/maintain TS/SCI clearance is required or achievable.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue defense opportunities aligning with Whisper Aero growth.
• Manage relationships with government entities, end users, and contractors.
• Coordinate with product/engineering to align offerings with customer needs.
