Job summary

MLT Systems in Stafford, VA, seeks a mid-level Budget/Financial Management Analyst for the PEO Land Systems – AAA program office. You will support PMC, RDT&E and O&M finance, assist in funding actions, and prepare Execution Plans and briefings.

Requires at least 3 years of related experience, a Bachelor's in business/finance, and knowledge of defense acquisition regulations. Secret clearance and MS Office proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• At least three (3) years relative experience providing financial management support to a major/ACAT 1 equipment program is preferred.
• Diversified program execution experience is required.
• Understanding of defense acquisition statutory and regulatory guidance and USMC directives, instructions, policy, guidebooks and discretionary acquisition documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to PMC, RDT&E and O&M Financial Analysts in day-to-day transactions and funding account execution.
• Coordinate with program/functional managers to compile project Execution Plans by platform and appropriation.
• Prepare funding documents for Funding Action Requests and Procurement Initiation Documents and assist with program briefings and POM deliberations.
• Track invoice processing and provide variance analysis related to Execution Plans.
