Job summary

GLP Transit is seeking a dedicated truck driver to handle DEF truck loads safely and efficiently. The role requires a valid CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, TWIC, and compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations. You will perform routine safety checks, handle paperwork, and maintain vehicle readiness.

Overtime opportunities exist, with compensation based on experience and location. The ideal candidate will have prior fuel truck driving experience and be available to work weekends if needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A or Class B CDL with clean MVR.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements REQUIRED.
• TWIC card REQUIRED.
• Prior fuel truck driver experience PREFERRED.
• Must pass pre-employment DOT-regulated drug screen.
• Must meet DOT/FMCSA physical and medical requirements.
• Subject to quarterly random drug screens per FMCSA/DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads DEF trucks in compliance with Company policies and regulations.
• Safely operates trucks according to policies and state/federal laws.
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness and replaces gaskets, nozzles, and related items as needed.
• Performs safety inspections on trucks, equipment, and facilities as required.
• Monitors daily oil, water, fuel, tires, and tank-related items; reports issues to Fleet Manager.
• Completes and transmits all paperwork per Company procedures.
