Job summary

GLP Transit is seeking a professional driver to safely deliver petroleum products to company sites and customers. You will load/unload, operate trucks in compliance with regulations, and perform daily safety checks.

Requirements include a valid Class A or B CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements, TWIC, and a DOT/FMCSA medical clearance. Prior fuel truck experience is preferred and weekend work may be required. Benefits plus bonuses are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A or Class B CDL with clean MVR.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements REQUIRED.
• TWIC card REQUIRED.
• Prior fuel truck driver experience PREFERRED.
• Must successfully pass pre-employment DOT-regulated drug screen.
• Must meet and maintain DOT and FMCSA physical and medical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads trucks with petroleum products adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.
• Safely operates trucks according to Company policies and state/federal laws.
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness and performs safety inspections on trucks, equipment and/or facilities as required by Company policy.
• Maintains miscellaneous service duties such as checking oil, water, fuel, tires and tank related items on a daily basis.
• Completes and transmits all paperwork in compliance with established Company procedures.
• Communicate and coordinate with dispatchers on a daily basis.
