Job summary

A leading aerospace solutions company is looking for a Deep Space Logistics Engineering Support Specialist to provide technical expertise for NASA Kennedy Space Center. This role involves evaluating designs, assessing spacecraft systems, and supporting mission operations for NASA’s deep space projects. Ideal candidates will have a degree in engineering or physics, CAD expertise, and strong problem-solving skills. A collaborative team player is essential to work with various stakeholders and enhance NASA’s exploration objectives.

Qualifications

• Expertise in deep space, cislunar, or ISS logistics operations is preferred.
• Experience supporting NASA or other governmental space programs is desired.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate GLS Provider’s designs and analyses for compliance.
• Assess spacecraft and ground systems throughout the GLS mission lifecycle.
• Develop and simulate vehicle and subsystem mathematical models.
• Support development of new mission concepts.

Skills

CAD design and analysis (2D/3D)

Expertise in Avionics, Electrical, Propulsion, Mechanical, Thermal, Software, Quality, Safety, EMC/EMI, RF

Technical writing

Strong communication skills

Familiarity with NASA project documentation

Education
