Job summary

Clark Construction Group is seeking a Superintendent specialized in Deep Foundations and SOE in the McLean area. You will lead ground engineering, ensure compliance with design documents, and drive a safety-first culture on active job sites.

Responsibilities include sequencing work, managing logistics, mentoring teams, and maintaining project schedules to meet budgets. Strong communication with stakeholders and knowledge of contracts are required.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing field operations on large-scale projects, with emphasis on deep foundations and SOE.
• 3+ years leading, developing, and motivating teams.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes including scheduling, contract administration, equipment, and personnel.
• Experience leading field operations and communicating plans across audiences.
• Working knowledge of safety and building regulations (OSHA).
• Alignment to Clark standards: self-motivated, ethical, innovative, results‑oriented, team player.

Responsibilities

• Oversee timely and quality installation of deep foundation and SOE systems.
• Promote safety and quality among employees and contractors; conduct regular safety inspections.
• Plan, sequence, and track project work, materials, and personnel.
• Ensure work quality aligns with project standards and company expectations.
• Deliver projects on schedule and budget; take ownership of outcomes.
• Develop and communicate the project schedule; monitor critical milestones with stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop team members; build a high-performing crew.
• Build strong relationships with all project stakeholders and represent the company professionally.
• Understand owner contracts, subcontracts, and vendor agreements.
